Ayos: Photo Cleaner is now available on Mac.
Ayos is on the Mac App Store, as a native Mac app with a sidebar, an inspector, and review driven from the keyboard. One purchase covers iPhone and Mac, and everything still happens on the device.
Ayos: Photo Cleaner is now on the Mac App Store. It needs macOS 15 or later and is free to download. It joins the iPhone and Android apps announced a week ago, and the product page is at horizondigital.dev/ayos.
The same piles, on the library that is actually big
For a lot of people the Mac is where the whole photo library lives, years of it, and that is where the junk drawer is deepest. Ayos on the Mac finds the same things it finds on a phone: Possible Not a Memory (receipts and documents, products and shopping, food, memes and saved images, utility shots, old screenshots), exact duplicates with the best copy kept, similar shots of the same moment, screenshots and screen recordings, blurry photos, and large videos. Every photo still carries a plain-English reason for being suggested, and favorites are still never suggested at all.
Built for a Mac, not stretched onto one
The Mac app is laid out the way Mac apps are: the piles in a sidebar, the photos in a grid, and an inspector with the reason for whichever photo is selected. Review runs from the keyboard: arrow keys move through the grid, single keys keep a photo or bin it, ⌘A selects everything Ayos suggested, and any photo opens full size in the Mac's own viewer. Every action is also in a menu, so nothing depends on remembering a shortcut.
One purchase, both devices
The iPhone and Mac apps are one App Store purchase. Both are free to download, with the first 100 deletions free; the optional Pro purchase removes the limit and unlocks it on every iPhone and Mac signed in to the same Apple Account. There is no subscription. The free allowance is one count shared by both devices, kept in the person's own iCloud, not on any server of ours.
Still nothing leaves the device
Analysis runs on the Mac, with Apple's on-device frameworks. There is no account, no cloud, no analytics, and the app makes no network connections of its own. Deleting works exactly as it does on the phone: nothing goes until one button is pressed, the chosen photos then wait inside Ayos for seven days where any of them can be taken back, and after that Photos asks once more and keeps them in Recently Deleted for thirty days. The privacy policy covers iPhone, Mac, and Android in plain words.
